What we Grow!

Goals for 2025 Growing season
Last Year
The big challenge last year was the 400,000 plus grasshoppers per acre that tried to eat every single thing on the farm including me the farmer. We also experienced a two day freeze mid June but given covered crops only lost some squash.
We also made some big changes to the way we plant thanks to our learning from Spring Rain Farm and the state of Nevada training.
This Year
This year we will try to complete two small greenhouses and convert an old van into a greenhouse for all the tomato plants. No raised beds and all planting very tight to conserve on water. We have also added a large amount of additional water storage.
